Objectives

The objectives of the project are:

* promote the development of key competencies, namely those related to financial literacy among adults - some deliverables addressing this objective will be produced

* development of materials that will be used both by users and trainers in order to prevent indebtedness

* development of a curricula related to financial literacy

* promote the dialogue between educators and the community including those with social responsibility in finances - local entities will be involved in the project since the beginning

* to help provide adults with pathways to improving their knowledge and competencies - the toolbox, handbook and curricula will address this objective

* to facilitate the development of innovative practices in adult education and their transfer, including from a participating country to others - UK has more experience than the other partners in financial literacy and so a knowledge transfer from this partner to the other partners will take place

* to improve pedagogical approaches and the management of adult education organizations - new pedagogical approaches will be used in the development of the curricula

* to improve the quality and to increase the volume of cooperation between organizations involved in adult education throughout Europe - the consortium is composed of different types of organizations
