Toolbox

Taking into consideration the information gathered during the country analysis, the consortium has decided on a list of 14 topics to be covered when selecting/developing the toolbox for adult users: personal, critical thinking, risks, planning and investment, savings, glossary, credits, budgeting, income (and taxes), basic mathematics, financial products, monetary system, shopping and consumer rights and indebtedness.

The development of the toolbox will follow two approaches:

1) the partnership will gather already existing exercises provided by other institutions, such as banks, NGO’s, and so on, concerning financial literacy. Some of the exercises (developed by third institutions or by the partnership) are transversal, meaning that it is possible to adapt or use them all over Europe, while some exercises are country specific, e.g., when the tool is only available in the country language, was developed by an institution, and there is no possibility to translate it.

2) the partnership will develop some exercises matching the topics mentioned above.  The design of these materials will be classified mostly as entertainment materials (videos, games, audio files, exercises, activities, etc.).
