Best practice guide for teachers & counsellors
This section contains the results from the Leonardo da Vinci partnership "Financial Literacy" that took place between 2008 and 2010, and which serves as the basis for the development work in this project.
The best practice examples can be used by teachers, trainers and counsellors working in different situations with their learners or clients. They have been grouped into three different categories:
- to give insight about financial issues and increase the financial knowledge
- to help people to become aware of the impact of financial decisions
- to support them to develop financial competence and their knowhow on how to manage efficiently money
Each model gives a short description and provides the link to more detailed information, and informs about the language and country of origin. This English section of the website contains all materials, whereas the other language sections of this website contain the respective models in German, Portuguese and Italian language only.
